Synchronization with a Sonyericsson P800/900 with Notes 6 and Metaframe

This is how to make it work. Also for Terminal server/Metaframe installations.

1. Install Lotus Notes R6.0.x (or R6.5.0 it should work, but I have not tested 6.5 yet. Will update later.) on the users PC. As far as I know it will not work if you install it on Terminal servers, so install on the users PC with terminal server installations also (requires Win95 or newer client PCs). Non terminal server installations must have notes.ini i c:\program files\lotus\notes or other pathed directory.

2. Install the SonyEricsson sync software for P800/900 V2.0.1 or newer on the users PC. Download from sonyericsson.com.
a.) If you use a local install of Notes everything should work ok now.

b.) If you use a Terminal server install do this:
Update this regkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes\6.0
DataPath=H:\Notes\Data
(H:\Notes\Data is where the user have his data folder with names.nsf, user.id and Notes.ini files. Substitute with your own setup.)

AND MOST IMPORTANT: Copy h:\notes\data\notes.ini
to c:\program files\lotus\notes or other pathed directory or it will not work. There may be a reg workaround for this, but atleast it works for Terminal server installations this way.

c:\program files\lotus\notes can of course be substituted with your own client install path.
Ex. c:\lotus\notes
